Hull House

I really thought that our visit to the Hull House was a great experience. Before this I had a completely different idea of what the Hull House actually was. I think that Jane Adams is a huge reason why Chicago is such a successful city.

So I just wanted to talk about my opinion of the picture of Jane’s companion. Since this woman was a huge part of Jane’s life and Jane herself had this painting made for a particular reason it should definitely be put up in the museum. But about the caption… it has been said that these two were lovers, but why is it important to make the whole caption about that. I think that is defiantly should be noted that they were companion’s but I think that the first caption is more than appropriate because it states that they were companions while also qualifying other reasons why this woman was so important.
