UIC’s development, redevelopment, and expansion

Sooo…. As I said in class I think that UIC campus is very dark and dreary. There were a lot of counter arguments to my opinion. But I think that was people didn’t understand was that I was not talking about UIC in relation to what it use to be like and how much it has changed, I was comparing it to other campuses I have been on in the last 4 years. I understand that UIC has come a very long way but that does not mean that it is anywhere near where it could be. I visit a lot of schools because of how much we travel for volleyball. And I would have to say that of the 20 some campuses ive been on UIC is one of the worst. The buildings are not modern in anyway and the campus is very uninviting.
